Rex Campbell

Rex Thomas Campbell, age 59 of Smyrna, passed away on February 9, 2026. Rex was born on September 22, 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Arthur S. Campbell and Lee Anna Campbell.

Rex graduated from Beech High School in Hendersonville, Tennessee, Class of 1984.

Rex enjoyed watching the University of Tennessee Volunteers and the Tennessee Titans. He also enjoyed tailgating at Nissan Stadium.

Rex is survived by his life partner, Barbara; his children, Christopher Thomas Campbell, Dillon Demontigny, Caleb Chase Campbell (Courtney); his grandchildren, Colton, Hunter, Carter, and Quentin; his siblings, Lee Campbell (Briget) and Holly Groves (Kent); his aunt, Maggie Cobb; his cousin, Kenny Campbell; his nieces and nephews, Corey (Brittany), Brittany (Blaine), Caroline, Braxton, Kelsey, and Luke; and his great nephews, Ryder, Axl, and Carson.

Visitation for Rex will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 from 5 pm – 7 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, TN 37075) and again on Saturday, February 14, 2026 from 9 am – 10 am. The funeral service for Rex will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 10 am with burial to follow.
