Richard F. “Rick” Dyer, Jr., 75, passed away on Monday April 1, 2024, in Hendersonville, Tennessee.   Rick was born on November 23, 1948, in Honolulu, Hawaii to Richard Frederick Dyer Sr., and Margaret (Fetherston) Dyer.

Rick served in the U. S. Rick loved the outdoors - fishing, hunting, playing golf, and his animals.  He also enjoyed history, building model airplanes and focusing on historically accurate painting detail on them and period soldiers.

Rick was a member of Air Combat Group (ACG), Fighter Squadron 111, a group flying World War II aircraft on his computer.  Rick flew multiple aircraft in his 262 Campaign Missions, serving both as lead and wingman.  In doing so, he met and befriended ACG members from around the world.  He was known by his callsign “Katt.”  Memories and condolences from some members of ACG are shown at hendersonvillefh.com

Pearson; nephews Michael A. (Maren) Pearson Jr. and Jeremy (Laura) Pearson; great nephews Bobby and Danny Pearson; great nieces Taya and Lucy Pearson; sister and brother- in- law Ruth (Rickey) Bramblett; and his cat Ellie Boo Boo.
