Robert "Bobby" Lee Riddle

Robert “Bobby” Lee Riddle, age 81, of Hendersonville passed away on May 10, 2026. Bobby was born on March 4, 1945 to the late Ruben and Annie Riddle in Nashville, Tennessee.

Bobby and his beloved wife, Faye, began dating at the age of 16 and were married by 20, sharing a lifelong love story that would have marked 61 years of marriage on June 25. Bobby found joy in life’s simple pleasures — spending time fishing, cheering for whichever football team was the underdog, and enjoying ice cream of every flavor. A faithful servant of the Lord, Bobby served as a deacon at Joelton Church of Christ and, alongside Faye, attended Hendersonville Church of Christ in recent years.

In addition to his parents, Bobby is preceded in death by his siblings, Roger and Sissy.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Faye Morrow Riddle; his four children, Larry (Emily), Dana (Chad), Diana (Mike), and Shelli (Thomas); his eight grandchildren, Peyton, Savannah, Aaliyah, Sarah (Riley), Christina, Malachi, Emi Kate, and Bryson; his three great grandchildren, River, Evy, and Aelin; his three siblings, George, Tiny, and Debi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Bobby will be held on Thursday, May 14, 2026 from 4-8 pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home (353 E. Main St., Hendersonville, Tennessee 37075). Visitation will also be held on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 11 am until 1 pm at the same location. The funeral service for Bobby will begin at 1 pm with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens (1150 Dickerson Rd, Goodlettsville, TN 37072).
