Robert (Bob) Cavanaugh, Jr., age 55 of Gallatin, TN passed away into the presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 7, 2014. The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of Bob is his enduring unconditional love that he showed on a daily basis for his family. Bob had a passion for many things, music, cooking, and generosity to anyone who had a need. His unending drive left a indelible place in every life he touched. Near and dear to his heart was the time he spent with the Gallatin Sertoma Club raising money for "Christmas Caravan for kids". Bob was also a drummer, executive music producer, band promoter, band manager, booking agent, and record label owner. Bob had recently joined the Nashville Songwriter Association and was added to the "top 40 to watch" just last month. Bob fulfilled everything he passionately pursued. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Cavanaugh, Sr. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Colleen Cavanaugh; daughters, Rachel & Rebekah Cavanaugh; mother, Joanne Talarico; sister, Debra (Charles) Engle; brothers, Peter (Cindy) Cavanaugh, Steve (Melissa) Cavanaugh and Jeffery (Erin) Cavanaugh. Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Hendersonville Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
