Robert Dixson

Mr. Robert L. Dixson age 76, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020.

Mr. Dixson was born in Port Arthur, TX, on July 16, 1943, the son of the late Claude Dixson and Orita Dunning Dixson. He served in the United States Marines. Mr. Dixson retired from Tri-State Distributors and prior worked with Voorhees and Total Supply. He enjoyed going to the beach, fishing, and playing golf. Mr. Dixson loved being with his family more than anything. In addition to his parents, Mr. Dixson was preceded in death by a sister, Patsy Taucher.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Dixson, to whom he was married on September 30, 1967; three daughters, April Sartain (Kerry), Christy Sisco (Rob), and Michelle Maron; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three two brothers, Donald Dixson (Bonnie) and Fred Dixson (Judy); and a sister, Joy Barnett. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

A private interment service will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
