Joe Snyder

Joe Snyder, a kind-hearted and dependable man, passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 75. He was born on January 12, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio. Joe was known for his unwavering commitment to serving others and his dedication to his work.

Joe proudly served in the United States Army. After serving in the Army, Joe spent a number of years as a postal clerk at the US Post Office. Outside of work, Joe was a pillar of support for his loved ones. His genuine nature made him an exceptional friend. Joe was always there when someone needed help, often being the first one to offer assistance or lend a hand. In his free time, Joe found solace in working in the yard and pursuing woodworking projects. He had a talent for transforming pieces of wood into beautiful creations that showcased his craftsmanship and attention to detail. 

Joe is preceded in death by his parents, Theodore and Auda Belle Snyder; and by his son, Steven Snyder. 

Joe is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Patricia Snyder; son, Joey Snyder (Charlotte); grandchildren Dalton Theodore Snyder and Skyler Christeen Snyder; brother, John Oscar Young (Sue), sister, Barbara Jean Batson, brother-in-law, Roy Lickliter (Donna); nieces, Joanna Spain and Sami Lentz, and nephew, Dan Lentz (Jill).

A visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 5, 2023, from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home & Cremation Center located at 353 E Main St in Hendersonville, TN. Following the visitation, a funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm. The burial will follow immediately after the funeral service.

He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and dedication that will continue to inspire all those who knew him. Joe's absence will be deeply felt by his family and friends, but his memory will live on in their hearts forever.
