Robert "Bobby" Slaton

Robert “Bobby” Wayne Slaton, age 71, of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

He was born on January 31, 1951, to the late, Harold Slaton and Sue Springer Slaton and Jenny and Eddie McGaugh.

As a young teen, Bobby moved from California to Greenville, MS to live with his late Uncle Eddie and Aunt Jenny McGaugh. This is where he began his 50+ year Shipley’s Do-Nut career.

He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannie Slaton; sons, Mike (Caitlin), Tommy (Amanda), Bruce (Ashley), Lundy (Chandler), and Matthew (Caitlan); grandchildren Sage, Michael Murray, Maisie, Wrigley, Palmer and Alice; brothers Tommy (Rhonda), Bruce (Janice), and sister, Marcie Lindsay.
Bobby is preceded in death by his brother, Mike Slaton.

A memorial service will be held at Hendersonville Memory Garden and Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11 A.M. with visitation for family and friends one hour prior to service time.
