Rodney "Chuck" Schott, born on December 13, 1961, in Fargo, North Dakota, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026. Chuck was a graduate of Shanley High School and North Dakota State University, his life was marked by a career distinguished by significant leadership roles in sales and management across diverse locations including Fargo, ND; Erie, PA; St. Paul, MN; Bowling Green, KY; Richmond, VA; Pittsburgh, PA; and Southern California. Throughout his professional journey, he held various Vice President and General Manager positions.
Chuck was a man of warmth and humor, known for his laid-back demeanor and a constant wit that lightened any room. Always ready with a joke, he was also a source of wise counsel and a steadfast friend who would regularly check in on those he cared about. His personality left an indelible mark on those around him, making him someone people naturally turned to for advice and support.
His passions extended beyond his career. Chuck cherished his time on the golf course, found joy in tending to his backyard, and embraced the adventure of traveling, especially family trips that created lasting memories.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Teri Schott; his children; Kelly Littman (Josh) and Taylor Schott (Helen Gustafson); and his beloved granddaughter, Margot Littman. Chuck’s family circle also includes his dear siblings Mary LeBlanc, Tom Schott (Mary), Deb Nelson (Bob), Shari Sauvageau (Dallas), Jim Schott (Mary), and Don Schott (Mary Kay), along with numerous nieces and nephews who carry forward his legacy with fond remembrance.
Chuck was preceded in death by his son, Nathan Schott; his parents, Rodney and Evelyn Schott; his brother-in-law, Vern LeBlanc; and his sister-in-law, Karen Schott.
A visitation will be held on April 17, 2026, starting at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of The Lake Catholic Church, located at 1729 Stop 30 Rd in Hendersonville, Tennessee. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. at the same location, providing friends and family the opportunity to honor Chuck’s remarkable life and the enduring impact he had on so many.
Rodney “Chuck” Schott’s life was one of kindness, laughter, and steadfast commitment—to his family, friends, and career. He will be remembered with deep respect and affection by all who had the privilege to know him.
