Rowan Ward

Rowan Avery Ward, age 16 months, passed away January 15, 2023.  Rowan was born on August 30, 2021 in Nashville, Tennessee to loving parents, Rachel and Trey Ward.  He is also survived by grandparents, Joe Houston Ward and Gina Grisham Ward; aunts, Kori Danelle Barber (James) and Allison Ward Hodges (Blake); uncles, Brian Christopher Ellis and Blaine Corbin Ward; great-grandmother, Mildred Haskins; fur siblings, Maeve and Keeva; and many other family members and special friends.

Rowan is preceded in death by his grandmother, LaDonna Martin Ellis; uncle, Jonathan Rand Seagroves; and great-grandparents, James Edward Ward, Lou Nell Ward, and James Dalton Ellis.

Rowan’s excitability could be told through his “happy hands”!  He loved to sip on Sprite and enjoyed bath time.  Rowan especially liked to pull on Mama’s hair and steal Dad’s hat and glasses.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home with the Memorial Service immediately following.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt or The Joshua Frase Foundation.
