He started his career sweeping floors at age 13 at Mercer Corporation where he grew into a lead sales role and later ITW Dynatec heavily instrumental in sales and operations. He was very active in his home church, Faith is the Victory, by serving in the children’s ministry and as an usher and was instrumental in carrying on his father’s work with Jesus Christ is Lord Ministries.

Scott led a very active lifestyle and found great joy in being on the lake, snowskiing, playing tennis, traveling, and opening up his home to family and friends to celebrate holidays and special occasions. Scott particularly loved tennis at “the club” and was active in tennis for over 40 years.

"Rise and Shine and Give God the Glory"

Never a day taken for granted. He was always sure to "Rise" and "Shine" with as much energy and enthusiasm as the day before as if he's surprised he woke up and as happy as a kid getting a new bike for their birthday. But he's right, each day is a gift. While his three kids grumbled in their beds, he would sing "rise and shine and give God the glory glory...!.'". He knew a secret to life, it's temporary.

You never know when it will end, and how lucky(or in his words, blessed) you are to be alive. He knew how to appreciate every day we are given, to see the sun again, to take a walk outside, and to dance with his grandchildren.

Nehemiah 8:10 “ ………….For the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
