Mrs. Sharyn Lynn Evans age 77, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021.

Mrs. Evans was born in Gary, IN, on June 6, 1943, the daughter of the late Fred Fagen and Marie Henderlong Fagen. She spent her childhood in Crown Point, IN.

She was a parishioner at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church where she was a member of Legion of Mary. Mrs. Evans served as an officer for Newcomers & Community Club of Sumner and was a volunteer for Homebound Meals in Hendersonville. She was an OB/GYN Nurse for thirty years at Hendersonville Medical Center. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Evans was preceded in death by a sister, Nancy Lipke.

Survivors include her husband Thomas A. Evans "Tom", to whom she was married on August 27, 1966; two sons, Sean Evans (Jana) and Brad Evans (Lisa); five grandchildren, Zachary Evans, Hollie Taylor (John), Bailey Hope (Grayson), Abigail Evans, and Kylie Evans; a great-granddaughter, Brooke Taylor; two brothers, David Fagen (Patricia) and Tom Fagen (Lucy); and a sister, Diane Hershberger. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 7th, from 11:00 A.M. until 12:30 P.M. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church followed by a Rosary conducted by Legion of Mary. Funeral Mass will be held Friday at 1:00 P.M., Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Homebound Meals Hendersonville, TN.
