Sue Stafford- age 88 passed away January 9, 2016.
Sue was a resident of Washington D.C. for 50 years. During that time she worked as an administrative assistant for the CIA, FBI, and the Department of the Army. She was a devoted member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church. She had a heart for missions. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who will be deeply missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister, Verna McCurdy;
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Milton (Bill); grandchildren, Laura and John Milton; sisters, Ida Read, Bertha Bruning, Martha Adams; brother, Willie Dunaway; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 2pm at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 11am-2pm at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Women's Missionary Union (WMU Foundation 100 Missionary Ridge Birmingham, AL 35242.
