Tarrel Austin

Tarrel De Austin, age 66, was born in Burlington, Colorado on August 29, 1958. He passed October 18th, 2025.

Tarrel resided in Hendersonville, TN for over 25 years. He worked as a personal assistant for Joy Ford of the Bell Cove Club, and they shared a close friendship. Tarrel De is the son of Johnnie J Austin, Grandson of Bill and (Toots) Florence (Wikenhauser) Johnson of Alma, Illinois, Great-grandson of Theodore and Preston Ruth (Chandler) Wikenhauser. Tarrel has one sister, Jitona Austin-Hume in Colorado, One deceased brother, Kreighton (Kraig) Austin the Second. He also has one nephew, James Tarrel Austin Hume in Colorado. Tarrel has two Aunts, Aunt Bette and Aunt Karlyn.

In addition to his main occupation, Tarrel De had a passion for singing and songwriting. He had a wide circle of friends in the music industry.

He cherished his six cousins, along with his friends and family.

Tarrel passed away tragically due to tongue and throat cancer.

He was a born again Christian and a member of the Southern Baptist denomination.
