Terry B. Sadler, age 77, of Gallatin, Tennessee passed away at his home on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. He was born on September 15, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee to his late parents, Paul Bryan and Carolyn Ladd Sadler. He is a graduate of North High School in Evansville, Indiana.
A humble servant of Christ, Terry devoted his time to both his family and his church. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church Hendersonville, where he served on the security team and in other roles throughout the years.
Terry was full of joy and loved music, dancing, and being with his family. He was a proud member of Our Special Dance group in Kentucky and sang in the church choir, where his voice and spirit brought joy to many.
He enjoyed old car shows, westerns on TV, gardening, and trips to the beach. He had a big love for hot chicken, sweet tea, and spicy peppers. Sundays were especially meaningful to him—he never missed a family dinner.
Elvis was his favorite artist, and his love for music and life was felt by everyone who knew him. Terry was always ready to serve his church and community with a kind heart.
Above all, Terry cherished time with his children and grandchildren. His presence will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
He is preceded in death by his parents listed above; his sister, Carol Hart; and his first wife, Linda Brown Sadler.
Terry leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife of sixteen and a half years, Iris M. Sadler; children, Kathy Stewart (Barry), Kim Sadler, and stepson, Joe Matthews (Kate); siblings, Vickie Dissler, Lisa Ray, and John Sadler; grandchildren, Kerstin Scheetz (Tyler), Madelyn Carpenter (Brian), Kiera Sadler, Jurnee Malone, Preston Matthews (Victoria); and great-grandchildren, Tobias McCutcheon, Alaric McCutcheon, Archer Matthews, and Stevie Rebecca Matthews.
