Tommie Jaco, born on June 3, 1941, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2025. She was a cherished member of her community and loved deeply by her family.
A devoted Christian, Tommie attended Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Her passions included camping, gardening, and reading, with a particular fondness for the Bible. She had a special bond with her dog, Abby, who was a constant companion and source of joy in her life.
Tommie was married to Bill Jaco for thirty-four years, who preceded her in death. She is also preceded by her mother, Lana Jo Woods and stepfather, Edward Smith.
She is survived by her daughter, Tina Morris (Shawn), and her son, Wayne Jaco (Lois). She took great joy in being a grandmother to Landon, Kelsey, Jackson, Lauren, and Wayne III, as well as a great-grandmother to Taigan and Braedon. Tommie also leaves behind her sister, Jane Powers, along with several nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation and memorial service to be held at the Hendersonville Memory Gardens, Funeral Home & Cremation Center, located at 353 E Main St, Hendersonville, TN 37075. The visitation will take place on September 10, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, followed by the memorial service from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
