Tracy Lee Gilley, Sr.

Tracy Lee Gilley, Sr., age 56, went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 15, 2023 surrounded by his wife, family, and friends.  He was born on October 30, 1966 in Nashville, Tennessee to Sandra and Morris Gilley.  Tracy is preceded in death by his father, Morris (Bubba) Gilley; and grandparents, Mildred and Earl Mayo.  He is survived by his childhood sweetheart and wife of 37 years, Tonya Gilley; children, Bryan Gilley (Kelly), Eric Gilley (Jenni), and Lee Gilley; grandchildren, Piercen Gilley, Greysen Gilley, and Kohlsen Gilley; mother, Sandra Howard; aunt, Carolyn Howard; cousin, Annette Britt (Jimmy); and numerous family and friends.

Tracy was a 1984 graduate of Goodlettsville High School.  He was a Past Master of Beech Lodge #240.  Tracy was the proud owner and operator of Gilley’s Caulking and Waterproofing.  He had a lifelong passion for playing the drums.  Tracy was a charismatic and selfless man who never met a stranger and easily made friends wherever he went.  His absolute greatest joy was spending time and fishing with his grandchildren.  Tracy will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 18, 2023 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Community Church 381 W. Main Street Hendersonville, Tennessee.  Visitation will also be held on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. with a Masonic Service beginning at 1:00 p.m.  with Funeral Service immediately following at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E. Main Street Hendersonville, Tennessee. 

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
