Mrs. Viva Lee Prow age 89, of Hendersonville, TN, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018.

Mrs. Prow was born in Kentucky, on September 14, 1929, the daughter of the late Ernest and Effie Trout. She was a homemaker and helped her husband with his construction business. Mrs. Prow later in life helped out with the First Baptist Church Mother's Day Out Program and was a poll worker for the Sumner County Election Commission. She was a member of Hendersonville First Baptist Church. Mrs. Prow enjoyed canning, flowers, and hummingbirds, but most of all she enjoyed time spent with her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Prow was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Prow; a sister, Rose Powell; and a brother, Jack Trout.

Survivors include her daughter, Kim (Mike) Skelton; a son, Tim (Shannon) Prow; and four grandsons, Justin Skelton, Josh Skelton, Caleb Prow, and Ethan Prow.

A Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018, at 3:00 P.M., Hendersonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Hendersonville Memory Gardens.

Gathering of Family & Friends will be held Monday from 3:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Tuesday from 1:00 P.M. until the funeral hour at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
