W. Eldridge

Mr. W. Bruce Eldridge, 88 of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017. Preceded in death by his parents William and Luanna Eldridge (Peet); his loving wife of 49 years, Margarette Elizabeth Eldridge (Crain); sister, Janice Bumpus. He is survived by daughters, Carol Thibodeau (Jon), Gail Humes (David) along with many other extended family and friends.

Bruce had a passion for traveling and he loved to play the game of Tennis. He was an avid fan of the University of Tennessee Volunteers Football team and a UT-Knoxville graduate. He spent many nights dancing and he truly loved to entertain people. Bruce was a U.S. Navy Seabee and reunited frequently with his fellow Seabees. Bruce always made people laugh and he will be dearly missed by family and friends.

A Life Celebration service will be held at Hendersonville Funeral Home at 1:00PM, officiated by Dr. Tom Tyndall, with visitation beginning at 11:00AM.
