William Boyd

Mr. William Roy Boyd age 82, of White House, TN, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2020.

Mr. Boyd was born in Cabin Creek, WV, on February 26, 1938, the son of the late Bonnor Hill Boyd and Nora Marie Childers Boyd. He retired after twenty-eight years of service from Peterbilt Motor Company (PACCAR, INC) as a maintenance supervisor. Mr. Boyd enjoyed spending time with his two dogs, Mikey and Chi-Chi, watching western movies, antique cars, and listening to Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash. In addition to his parents, Mr. Boyd was preceded in death by a daughter, Jennie.

Survivors include a son, Steven Boyd (Julie); a daughter, Tammy Boyd Jones; six grandchildren, Bethany, Lindsey, Casey, Jordan Boyd, Jace Boyd, and Morgan Macfarlane; and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests memorial contributions be made to Humane Society of Sumner County 16 Volunteer Drive, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
