William Whitaker

William A. Whitaker died February 18, 2022 in Chattanooga, TN. He was born on March 25, 1952 in Milan, Indiana to the late Laura Schroder and Robert Whitaker. He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Whitaker, infant daughter Katrina Whitaker and brothers Robert Whitaker and Terry Cutter. He is survived by his son Corey (Rachel) Whitaker of Chattanooga, TN grandchildren Arthur and Sally, brother Barry (Teresa) Cutter of Brownstown, IN and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A service to celebrate Mr. Whitaker’s life will  be held at 1pm CST on Wednesday, February 23, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home in Hendersonville, TN. Visitation will start at 12pm until the start of the service at 1pm CST.

William was an avid sports fan and loved rooting for the Cincinnati Reds, Indiana Hoosiers, Indiana Pacers, and Miami Dolphins. He loved spending time with his family, especially his two young grandchildren, who will miss him dearly.
