Betty Atnip

Betty Lois Martin Atnip, age 90, of Hendersonville, passed away on Tuesday, November 9, 2021.

She was born to the late Robert Eddie Martin and Willie Mae Luckett Martin on September 20, 1931.

She is survived by daughters, Cathy (James) Wooten and Lisa (Paul) Sweeney; grandchildren, Melissa Whited, Kenneth Wooten, Patricia Martin, Michelle Martin, Erica Sweeney, and Brianne Sweeney; great-grandchildren; Andrew Whited, Brian Whited, Alexis Wooten, Connie Wooten and Slate Greene; great-great-grandchildren; Alaia Wooten and Ava Wooten. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

She is preceded in death by husband of 53 years, Billy Hayes Atnip; daughter, Sandra Martin, and ten brothers and sisters.

Graveside service will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, 353 East Main Street, in Hendersonville on November 12, 2021 at 11 A.M.
