Carol Burnett

Carol Burnett of Gallatin, TN passed away at her residence on Thursday, October 14, 2021. She was surrounded by her family and close friends when she lost her battle with cancer. Carol was an active member of her community and enjoyed spending time with her fellow residents at Lenox Place. Prior to her retirement, Carol was a beautician providing hair services for over 50 years. She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifton and Lorene Hardaway, brother, Cliff Hardaway, and her husband of 26 years William Burnett.

She is survived by her three children, son, Ken Brinkley and his wife Mallory, her son, Scott Brinkley and his wife Elisa, and her daughter, Brandy Brinkley and her husband Brent Wilder. Grandchildren, Megan Reynolds (Reed), Meredith Brinkley, Mollie Brinkley, Chase Brinkley, Reese Brinkley, Bentlee Wilder, Lawson Wilder, sister, Marilyn Raymer (Jerry), and sister-in-law, Sandra Hardaway, grand dogs, and grand cats.

Fun loving and outgoing, Carol would want her family and friends to remember the good times and not focus on the last year of her life. Please join us in celebrating her life on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00am – 2:00pm with the funeral service at 2:00pm followed by the burial.
