Obituary

Cheryl Lynn (Wood) Neglia, age 66, passed away on March 12, 2023 in Gallatin, Tennessee.  She was born on January 20, 1957 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky to Betty Wood English and the late Aubrey B. Wood.

Cheryl is survived by her husband, Charles S. Neglia; mother, Betty Wood English; daughter, Ashley Brown (Ryan); grandson, Hunter Brown; granddaughters, Alexandria Brown and Caitlyn Brown; anticipating great-grandson, Koen; brother, Mark D. Wood (Sheila); sister, Audra Wood Rager (Ronnie); and many nieces and nephews.

Cheryl attended Murray State University and was also a Kentucky Wildcats fan.  She loved shopping, birdwatching, dogs, and rescuing animals. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home 353 E. Main Street Hendersonville, Tennessee.  A Memorial Service will take place immediately following visitation at 7:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to any of the following charities: ASPCA, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, Shriners Hospitals for Children, or St. Joseph’s Indian School.
