Dolores Estelle Wehby Young, age 86 of, Hendersonville, TN passed away on Sunday, January 9,2022. Dolores was born in Nashville, TN and was the daughter of the late Jack P. Wehby and Rossie Ellithorpe

Mrs. Young is survived by her son; Tim Young (Jeanette); daughter Hope; grandchildren Ben Young (Holly), Bethany Perkins (Jonathan); Seth Parker (Chasadey) and Rachel Young, and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years Sam W. Young, Jr. and son Phillip Sam Young, brothers Jack Wehby Jr., William Wehby, Sam Owen Wehby and sister Shirley Wehby Welch.

Services to celebrate Dolores life will be held at 2pm on the afternoon of Friday, January 14, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home and visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service.

Dolores was a devout Christian and longtime member of First Baptist Church of Hendersonville and sang in the choir for decades. She loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting and doing needlepoint. She never met a stranger and loved walking in the mall with her sister. She battled Parkinson’s Disease for 15 years and put up a valiant fight against it.
