Jesse Davis

Mr. Jesse Ray Davis (92), of Hendersonville, passed away on May 27, 2023. He was born on March 14, 1931 to the late Jesse and Estella Davis.

Jesse served in the United States Air Force where he spent his career as an Air Traffic Controller. After his retirement from the United States Air Force, he went to work for the Department of Interior. All in all, Jesse spent 45 years working for the government.

Jesse loved to golf. He also loved to listen to gospel and country music. Most of all, Jesse loved his church. He was very active in the choir and various other ministries.

In addition to his parents, Jesse is preceded in death by his daughter, Belinda Davis.

Jesse is survived by his children, Gary Davis (Tracy), Suzette Sands, Kim Davis (Phil), and Mark Davis; grandchildren, Morgan Davis, Christopher Sands (Angie), Richards Sands, Jeneva Hurst (Gary), Nicole Gaddis, Jonathan Gaddis, Marc Gaddis, Melissa Campbell, and Jesse Campbell; great-grandchildren, Harley, Parker, Olivia, Eva, Alexis, Garrison, Kaeli, Addison, and Kane; and his sister, Mary Davis.

The funeral service for Jesse will be held on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Hendersonville Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in the Hendersonville Memory Gardens.
