Joyce Latimer

Joyce Ann (Stafford) Latimer passed on far too early in life on the morning of Saturday, April 23, 2022, at age 69.  Joyce was born on November 5, 1952 in Madison, TN.  She leaves behind her loving husband of 48 years, Ray Latimer; her loving sister, Reba Stafford; her three adoring sons: Troy (Jennifer) Stafford, Danny Andrews, and Todd Stafford; 11 beloved grandchildren: Samantha Stafford, Lexi Andrews, T. J. Stafford, Paige Stafford, Taylor Andrews, Caleb Stafford, Micah Stafford, Katy Stafford, Payton Andrews, Regan Stafford, and Mason Stafford; one great-grandchild: Aydan Drake, and an abundance of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.  She joins her beloved grandson, Austen Andrews; her sister, Ruth Arlene Stafford; and her mother, Ruby Pearl Stafford.

Like her name, Joyce was truly a joy.  She was deeply loved by all who knew her.  She had a generous nature, a wonderful sense of humor, and loving heart.  Anyone who knew her was blessed.  Joyce accepted everyone, regardless of their actions.  Her grandbabies and great-grandbaby meant everything in the world to her. She enjoyed reading anything she could get her hands on (especially murder mysteries), crime television, the Atlanta Braves, the Tennessee Titans, and UT Vols football.

Services will be held at Hendersonville Memory Gardens, 353 East Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075 on Monday, May 2, 2022. The funeral will begin at noon, with visitation beginning at 10:00AM for family and friends.
