Leonard "Butch" Ray Shaw, Jr.

Leonard Ray Shaw Jr. (Butch) passed away peacefully on April 13th at the age of 81.

He is loved and cherished. He was a kind and generous man and those who met him were blessed to call him a friend. Butch was a selfless and loyal father spending his life dedicated to the care of his disabled son, Bill.  He loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren with all of his heart and will be deeply missed. 

He was born March 3,1942 in Nashville to Ray and Lena Shaw. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Brown Shaw and his son, Bill Shaw. Butch is survived by his two daughters, Kathy Breeding and Rebecca Harrison and her husband Chad Harrison. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Zane Breeding, Anne-Marie Breeding, Carter Breeding, Cainan Harrison and his wife Maggie Harrison, Caiah Collier and her husband Ty Collier, and his great-grandchildren: Titus and Tatum Collier.

Please join us in celebrating his life Saturday, April 22, 2023. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. with a graveside service to follow.  Services will be at Hendersonville Memory Gardens Funeral Home located at 353 E Main St. Hendersonville, TN 37075.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his favorite charity St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
