Milton Keathley

Milton Gene Keathley, age 85, of Madison, TN passed away on Thursday, September 2,2021 in Gallatin, TN. Milton was born in Nashville, TN in 1936.

Mr. Keathley is survived by his wife of 61 years Mary Virginia Primm Keathley; sons Kirk Keathley (Renee), and Kyle Keathley (Cindy); brother Wayne Keathley; grandsons Trevor Ryan Keathley and Tennessee Halen Gillespie. Milton was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Ethel Mooneyham Keathley.

Services to celebrate Milton’s life will be held at 1pm on the afternoon of Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Trinity Baptist Church in Hendersonville, TN. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the start of the service.

Milton was a veteran in the United States Marine Corps. He was the co-captain of the football team at Cohn High School. Milton loved to build churches and garages. He found great joy in helping others to build things. Milton loved all sports except soccer. He was a coach, principal, and an educator. Reading was one of his favorite things and loved history.

In lieu of floral tributes the family has requested that memorial contributions be made to The Samaritans Purse and Toys for Tots.
