Paul "Jerry" G. LeBlanc

May 27, 1943 ~ March 7, 2023 (age 79) 79 Years Old

Obituary

Paul G. “Jerry” LeBlanc, 79, passed away on Tuesday, March 7, 2023, in Nashville, Tennessee.  Jerry was born on May 27, 1943, to Leopold and Roselda (Harnois) LeBlanc in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Jerry was larger than life. He was very proud of his service in the 1st Calvary Division of the United States Army. He loved talking about his time spent with the NFL as a Fullback with the New York Giants. After studying engineering at New Hampshire University, he spent his career in Construction Engineering. He took delight in using his expertise to help anyone in need.

A storyteller with many to tell, and always eager to hook the attention of those around. You never knew what joke he was going to pull from his vast repertoire, or how appropriate it would be. He lived to ruffle some feathers, all with an endearing charm.

He loved being on the lake, boating, and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking and sharing the Northern dishes that he was raised on with those he loved. An avid traveler, he was always on the go or planning the next big escapade. He loved to experience the beauty of his country and was at his best sharing it with those that would tag along for the ride.

Most importantly, Jerry loved his family and the Lord. Even within his last days, he used every opportunity to pray with and bless those surrounding him. He was immensely grateful for the service of those who saw him through his toughest days. And for his wife's selfless devotion and strength.

"Would you look at that sunset."

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents Leopold and Roselda along with his sister Pauline LeBlanc. He is survived by his wife Martha LeBlanc; sons Paul (Tammy) Fawcett and Mark Fawcett; daughter Christine Fawcett; step-son Jason (Jessica) Smith and step-daughter Jennifer (Tim) O’Guin.  In addition, he is survived by his 13 grandchildren

Steven, Joey (Shyla), Khrystian, Rebekah (Brad), Kelsey, Ashley, Ryan, Owen, Jack, Oliver, Dexter, Cullen and Finn. He was blessed with 1 great-grandchild Landon, numerous extended family and friends, and his dog Jake.
