Wilda Kirkpatrick

Wilda June Kirkpatrick, age 93, of Gallatin, formally of Madison, TN., passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16,2022. She was born on September 10,1928 in Nashville, TN to the late Ernest and Ethel Staggs Hunt.

She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who lived to care for others. She was a member of City Road Methodist Church in Madison and will be missed dearly by many.

In addition to June’s parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Anthony Kirkpatrick,Sr. and sisters Lucille Williams, Claudie Galbraith and Ernestine Weatherly. June is survived by sons, John Anthony (Tony), Jr. (Shelia) Kirkpatrick and Mark (Georgia) Kirkpatrick; grandchildren Kellye (Jeremy) Long, Hunt (Corbin) Kirkpatrick, Sarah Kirkpatrick, Emma Kirkpatrick and Ethan Kirkpatrick and many nieces and nephews

Services to celebrate Wilda June’s life will be held at 10am on the morning of Saturday, January 22, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home with Kent Collier officiating. Family will serve as pallbearers. Interment will follow in Hendersonville Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 4-8pm on the afternoon of Friday, January 21, 2022 at Hendersonville Funeral Home.
